Can I request scents?

How do you package your products?

Candles and Reed diffusers will always be gift boxed in a white box with the YSIO; teal branded ribbon

CANDLES

Why choose a pure soy candle?

Soy wax is natural, no toxins, burns 40-50% longer than paraffin, biodegradable, cruelty-free and vegan

Why wood wicks?

Less smoke, burns slower and more evenly, 35% better fragrance throw, calming crackling sound, more sustainable

Why double wood wick?

Log fire-like flicker and crackle, significantly slows burn time

How long do candles burn?

Small 9cl: 12-15 hours, Regular 30cl: up to 60 hours, Large 50cl 3-wick: up to 110 hours

Will I smell the scent?

Yes, all candles are hand mixed and poured for amazing fragrance from start to finish

DIFFUSERS

How do reed diffusers work?

Mixture of base liquid and fragrance oils evaporates up through reeds to release aroma

Do I need to turn the reeds?

Not required with fibre reeds, but can turn to remove dust or boost scent

Do diffusers come with reeds?

Yes, 5/6 grey fibre reeds included with every order

How long do reed diffusers last?

50ml: up to 6 months, 100ml: up to 12 months

How to use mini travel diffusers?

Unscrew lid, remove seal cap, replace lid, hang or place upright, turn to release scent — lasts up to 3 months

PERSONAL FRAGRANCE

How do I use the rollerballs?

Roll on pulse points, wrists, behind ears; also works as cuticle oil or add drops to a bath

How long do perfumes last?

Most of the day for most people, varies by pH levels

What is the base for solid perfumes?

Coco butter, shea butter and candelilla wax — vegan

What is the base for rollerball fragrances?

Sweet almond oil; nut-free version available on request via contact page

YSIO; has truly been a lifesaver for me — a creative outlet, a community, and a mission. Every product I make is infused with care, quality, and meaning, reminding us all that our stories are still being written.

As a sole female business owner who lives with mental health challenges, I’m passionate about using my experiences to raise mental health and suicide awareness. The semicolon in YSIO; represents that — a pause, not an end.
